1. Chemonics Int’l: caling for interested applicants

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting firm, seeks experienced professionals for an anticipated activity funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). This program is expected to support  institutional strengthening of the Ministry of Marine Affairs’ effective management practices to reduce the rate of destruction of fisheries and high biodiversity costal ecosystems.

Chemonics seeks applicants with experience and expertise in the following technical sectors:

1. Fisheries policy
2. Marine and coastal fisheries management
3. Marine protected areas
4. Coastal community development
5. Marine product processing, marketing and certification
6. Coastal zone management
7. Communications and outreach

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree relevant to at least one of the above technical areas·
• At least 5 years experience in a role relevant to the work listed above
• Previous experience with USAID contractors and grantees desired
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages preferred
